There are 19 large waterfalls in Iguazu Falls, the biggest one, 'Devil's Throat', is located in Argentina and measures over 80 meters high.

Only three of them (Floriano, Deodoro and Benjamin Constant) are located on Brazil's territory. Even the majority being located on the Argentinean side, they are facing Brazil, what makes the Brazilian side the best place to view them.

Flowing from “Serra do Mar", the River Iguassu runs 1,320 kilometers before it reaches the waterfalls at Foz do Iguaçu. As the waters plummet down the falls, a deafening roar is created. The average flow of water is 1,700m3 per second and the resulting clouds of spray create immense rainbows on a sunny day, presenting a stunningly colorful spectacle.

Viewing platforms have been scattered on the paths around the falls allowing visitors to enjoy walks and treks alongside the cascading water.
