Known for its bars where the sounds of tambourines and drums roll loose until dawn, this is also one of the post cards of Rio. The beautiful Lapa Arches, an old aqueduct that brought water to the neighborhood of Santa Teresa centuries ago, today serves as a way for the tram that takes passengers up the hill. To finish the Lapa tour, nothing better than visiting Selarón staircase with its mosaic tiles in the colors of the Brazilian flag.

So you can fall even more in love with the city, is now time for the amazing Sugar Loaf! On board of the “bondinho” (cable car), go up the hill and dazzle your self with the view of Urca, Guanabara’s Bay and the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Get to appreciate Niterói city from there too.
